EXPLODING NFT Game: Splinterlands

Welcome to OurDecentralizedFuture where we talk about the EXPLODING NFT Game: Splinterlands

Hi there!

On Episode 6 of OurDecentralizedFuture, we have our very first guest in @aggroed, 1 half of the founders of Splinterlands, the blockchain game where the players own the assets (cards) they play with.

I’ve done a couple of posts on Splinterlands myself, but I need to add in another one because so much has changed, including the value of my collection (x10 since the 1st of June 2021). The demand for the game assets, particularly the NFT playing cards has just been insane, with every single metric growing outrageously.

We talk about all the funness of creating a blockchain game that has provably true results… and assets that the players own… that also needs to scale when it’s userbase explodes suddenly.

You can check it out on Spotify:

Or, if you prefer to see our happy smiley faces while you listen, we’ve thrown it up on YouTube:

Or, if you prefer to consume your content in a super decentralized way, we’ve got it on Cinnamon:

I’ve been such a big fan of Splinterlands for such a long time… and like almost everyone I wish I had gotten into it way sooner. I also often add my End of Season Report for Splinterlands on the Hive blockchain every 15 or so days…

If you don’t mind me asking, we’re also looking to grow our Twitter presence to help reach a larger podcast audience, if you wouldn’t mind liking or commenting or retweeting the tweet below we’d be super appreciative:
