I had a chat with Andrew @andrachy Levine, the CEO of the KOINOS Group about the token distribution of KOIN for the KOINOS Network.
It was a super interesting insight into how the group decided on the Proof of Work model, especially in light of the SEC lawsuit with Ripple (the company behind the XRP token) this week.
Here is the chat on Cinnamon.video:
It’s also available on YouTube if you’d prefer to watch this version…
As miners and token holders, we’ll definitely have to keep on the look out for communications from the Koinos Network before the time of the airdrop, so make sure you’ve entered your email address on Koinos.io. No doubt there will be some actions required to organise everything appropriately.
Andrew talks about setting things up correctly at the very start of the project, even if it makes things difficult for his own company, to ensure that the future developers and customers have no issue associating their brand with Koinos. Ripple is associated with lots of financial services brands, and it will be interesting to see how exchanges and those brands deal with the SEC challenge.
Here are all the good bits:

Thanks so much for watching!
