Incremental Improvement and Agile methodology

Welcome to OurDecentralizedFuture where we talk about Incremental Improvement and Agile Methodology!

Hi there!

On Episode 5 of OurDecentralizedFuture, we talk about a way to organise your project… and it can really be any type of project… so that you’re taking on smaller, much-easier to complete bits of work. It’s called the Agile methodology and it’s all about incremental improvement.

I’ve only been introduced to it in the last couple of years, but I’m definitely a fan. It’s great for when you’re building something and it’s super good at tracking everything you’ve done and everything you still need to do. If a project has ever felt overwhelming, then the agile methodology will help you break it down.

From a software point of view, you treat each new feature like it’s own separate little project, and this helps you make sure everything is tested and everything gets the attention it deserves.

The problem is… most blockchain projects might struggle to use this process… because a hard fork is such a big deal… we talk about all this funness in this episode. You can check it out on Spotify:

I’m personally astounded by how different the Koinos network is shaping up to be compared to most of the other blockchain projects I’m involved in. I can’t wait to see how it evolves…
